Short Film Competition

The short film competition carries the theme of “Borderless with Nightography” and participants are required to submit a short script in-line with the theme by 24 April 2022 based on one of the concepts: Fashion, Fitness, Romance and Music.

Samsung Malaysia and MIFFest will then select 22 winners who will be presented with the Galaxy S22 Series to shoot and produce their short film. These final productions will then be in the running to win an award in July 2022 at the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) opening ceremony. Besides, the top three short films will be premiered at the 5th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) 2022.
