The 5th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) is officially scheduled to take place from 10 to 15 July 2022, whereas the Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MGGA) ceremony will be held on 16 July 2022 at the Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur.

Samsung Malaysia Electronics has officially announced a collaborative project with the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) – ‘Born of The Galaxy Stars’ Short Film Competition. The event was also attended by the Chairperson of MIFFest and renowned producer Joanne Goh, who expressed her anticipation for this collaboration.

Malaysian film “The Assistant” has received good news from international film festivals, with the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest)  revealing that the film has been officially selected for competition at the Far East Film Festival (FEFF)  and has received its World Premiere. The film is being screened at an international festival for the first time.

The press conference for the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) and Golden Global Awards (MGGA) was held successfully today at Dadi Cinema, Pavilion KL. At the launch, the festival announced a series of events for the 5th edition of MIFFest, including a collaboration with the Udine Far East Film Festival (FEFF) in Italy, a Short Film Competition co-organized by Samsung Malaysia Electronics, and MIFFest Project Market (MPM).

After the press conference on 29 March 2022, Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) announced that ‘Talbis Iblis’ will have its World Premiere at the 24th Far East Film Festival (FEFF). This is the second Malaysia to have its world premiere at the 24th Far East Festival in Udine.
