Captain Azrul, from Montu DefCon (a private defence company), is tasked with protecting a cargo ship, which is attacked by pirates. Captain Azrul and his comrades managed to defend the ship. In fact, Captain Azrul saved the ship’s cook, Izwan, who almost died at the hands of the pirates. They all got home safely. Captain Azrul is celebrated by the company. But, the experience traumatised even the seasoned and decorated Captain. He becomes paranoid with the world around him. He increasingly believes there’s something disturbing in his life. Captain Azrul then starts researching conspiracy theories on the internet. His research further strengthens his hunch. Captain Azrul begins to feel he is being followed and even his every move is being watched. His psychosis worsens. Captain Azrul sees and hears strange things around him. He becomes increasingly disoriented when an alien (a two-legged amphibian) tries to communicate with him. At first, this creature only communicated verbally, before finally presenting itself to Captain Azrul. The alien convinces him to believe that the earth would be destroyed if he does not act. This is when the real adventure begins. Various “tasks” are given to Captain Azrul to fulfil. These adventures end when “the real Captain Azrul” appears. The ”alien dreamworld” is shattered. We finally learn that the real paranoid is Izwan, the cook. Through his psychosis, he took on Captain Azrul as his alter ego.
