Synopsis

Sakai, the protagonist, is the assistant manager of his father’s convenience store, where he has worked since high school. Outside shifts, he leads an ordinary life with streaming, online videos, and dating apps, having spent most of his twenties tied to the store. With his house, car, and job provided, he wants for nothing. The store is his whole world—yet beyond it, the world itself seems to be ending.
