Synopsis
A film about renowned Croatian basketball legend Dražen Petrović, one of the pioneering European players in the NBA, that shifts the focus from his celebrated sports career to the more intimate aspects of his life and distinctive personality. It explores Dražen’s relationship with basketball – his greatest passion and a kind of personal religion; his one true love, but also his curse.

Danilo: Born in 1971 in Zagreb, where he graduated in Philosophy and Greek. In 2002, he earned a master’s degree from Ohio University, mentored by Rajko Grlić. He is the President of the Croatian Film Directors’ Guild and has directed numerous documentaries and short films. His debut feature film “72 Days” (2010) won multiple awards, including the Audience Award at the Pula Film Festival, and was Croatia’s Oscar submission. He also directed “The Liberation of Skopje” and “Tereza37”, which won 6 Golden Arena Awards, including the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film. LJUBO: Born in Nova Gradiška in 1981. Graduated in History and Geography from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and studied film and theatre production at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In 2009, he founded Kinoteka, a production company that creates feature films, documentaries, animated projects, multimedia, and TV commercials. Under its banner, he actively produces and directs. He is an EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) graduate, and a member of the Croatian Film Workers’ Association, the Croatian Producers Association, and the European Film Academy.
